STEPHEN A. Smith had his fun with Shannon Sharpe and Dan Orlovsky as part of a fiery four-minute rant on the Dallas Cowboys.

The ESPN star, 56, spoke about the Cowboys ‘ 44-19 loss to the New Orleans Saints in Week 2.

Smith called the Cowboys defeat “atrocious” and pointed out numerous factoids about the performance.

He pointed out that the Saints scored on their first six offensive drives against Dallas.

And they weren’t short drives either as Stephen A. shared that the Cowboys gave up an 80-yard, three 70-yard, a 20-yard, and a 69-yard touchdown drive.

He then noticed Orlovsky’s face which grimaced at the statistics he provided to the TV audience.

“Look at your face Dan. Look at your face Dan Orlovsky, ” Smith said to his colleague.

Sharpe then laughed at his comment, which caused Stephen A. to tell him, “Look at your face, Shannon.

“That’s some hard stuff to stomach.”

Smith also brought up the Cowboys’ devastating 48-32 loss to the Green Bay Packers in last year’s Divisional Round.

He pointed out that it was the first time a team had allowed 44-plus points in consecutive home games since the 1968 Pittsburgh Steelers .

“You go to AT&T Stadium and you’re subjected to that atrocity, that is what we need to be talking about today,” Stephen A. continued.

“The Dallas Cowboys don’t have a good defense.

“We thought they did watching them against Cleveland, then you bring ‘em a running game, ok, and all of sudden they don’t know what to do.

    “You know why?

“Because they’re fast and they’re skilled but in the game of football that’s not enough when you’re soft.”

Sharpe didn’t fully agree with Smith’s stance that the Cowboys’ defense was bad.

But the NFL Hall of Famer did admit that Dallas’ defense was built to play with a lead.

The 1-1 Cowboys will face the Baltimore Ravens next week at AT&T Stadium.

Dallas will be catching a 0-2 team that will be desperate to get their first win of the season.

First Take takes place every weekday from 10 am Eastern to noon.
