The supposed seller invited concert lovers to message them. And, they claimed they were willing to sell the tickets at a discounted price. But it turned out to be a scam and she was hoodwinked into sending $1,600. This was despite her receiving a video that appeared to show the seller with the tickets. Cascada had wired the funds via Zelle and claimed the recipient blocked her online after the money was sent. <nbtemplate data-id="AdPlaceholder" data-content="JTdCJTdE"></nbtemplate> Cascada was apoplectic and has been left furious. She reported the case and a probe was launched. But <a href="https://www.the-sun.com/topic/wells-fargo/" rel="nofollow"> Wells Fargo </a> officials deemed the transaction to be valid.  She hit out at Wells Fargo and claimed bank representatives promised her they would take action. “Then they didn’t and it feels kinda like a betrayal,” she told the outlet. A Wells Fargo spokesperson urged customers to be vigilant about the risks of scams. “As scams change and evolve, we have taken, and continue taking significant action to combat scammers, including ongoing education efforts, warning notifications, and continually enhancing safeguards to help prevent these heartbreaking incidents,” they said. <nbtemplate data-id="AdPlaceholder" data-content="JTdCJTdE"></nbtemplate> The U.S. Sun has approached Wells Fargo for comment. Scammers often use urgency to try and panic their victims. If customers have any suspicion, they should pause and take a step back. Sometimes, customers will get calls that look like they are from the bank – when in fact, they are not. This is known as a spoofing call and is where fraudsters disguise caller IDs. The U.S. Sun has reported how unsuspecting bank customers have fallen victim to scams. Some have been tricked into losing thousands of dollars from savings they’ve built up. While, others have lost thousands from business accounts. Earlier this year, vet Shawna Green, of Florida, saw <a href="https://www.the-sun.com/news/10994349/chase-bank-account-money-scam-florida/" rel="nofollow"> $14,000 wiped from a company account </a> after receiving a call she thought was from the Chase fraud department. <nbtemplate data-id="AdPlaceholder" data-content="JTdCJTdE"></nbtemplate> Green opened up on her horror and recalled the person on the other end of the line sounded professional.
