My husband’s so small people assume he’s my child and say he’s not man enough for me – they couldn’t be more wrong

A MARRIED couple have hit back at trolls who hate their height difference.

Cassandra and Wes met on an online dating app and hit it off immediately before finding out her partner was shorter than her.

Talking to Truly, Cassandra admitted she would have never dated someone shorter than her in the past, but she decided to let the stigma go when she met Wes.

"When I started dating I didn't want to date anybody shorter than me because I was just so focused on what people think about me and the stigma," she revealed.

"However, once I got serious it was like, you know what, I really want to find my person. I kind of let the height thing go."

Cassandra is 5'10" while Wes is 5'5" but as she often wears heels she tends to tower over him.

The pair met online back in 2017 and sparks flew instantly thanks to their love of fashion.

While the couple couldn't care less about the height difference - and tied the knot, they reveal strangers have lots to say about it.

Wes admitted he had dated many women taller than him and the height difference had never fazed him.

He explained others are more concerned with it though: "Some of the misconceptions that people make are that I can't protect her, she is not feminine, that I suffer from short man syndrome, which means that I actually have an anger problem, that she walks all over me and I have no say in this relationship.

"Like a complete change of power dynamics just because she's taller than me and I'm shorter than her."

Cassandra also revealed when out in public people assume Was is her child because of their height.

"Girls think my husband is my son," she added.

The clip has since gone viral on the YouTube account with over 11,000 views.
