Prepare for the ‘Chipotlane’: Third Chipotle restaurant readies to open in Hillsboro

Yet another Chipotle Mexican Grill will begin serving burritos and bowls in Hillsboro next week.

The restaurant chain is set to open a new location Tuesday, Aug. 20, at 3010 S.E. Cornelius Pass Road, across the street from Reedville Café.

According to a release from Chipotle, this location will be the first in Hillsboro to feature a “Chipotlane” — a drive-thru lane that guests can use to pick up digital orders without leaving their cars.

The new location will mark the third Chipotle to open in Hillsboro, with restaurants currently sitting at 2048 N.W. Stucki Place and 4530 N.E. Cornell Road.

Another restaurant is slated to open in fall 2024 at 5344 N.E. Brookwood Parkway, between Burger King and Which Wich restaurants. That location will also feature a “Chipotlane.”

Chipotle is hiring at the Hillsboro location, offering access to mental health care for employees and their families, as well as debt-free college degree programs. More information is available at chipotle.com/careers .
