Vicksburg High School campus closed due to unexpected power outage

Vicksburg High School’s campus is closed Thursday, August 29 due to an unexpected power outage. The district announced the closure in a statement released Thursday morning.

“Parents and guardians are encouraged to arrange their children’s early pick up,” the statement read. “Buses will run on an adjusted schedule, and students who ride the bus will be transported home. Please ensure someone is available to receive your child.

“We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your understanding and cooperation as we prioritize the safety and well-being of our students,” the statement continued. “Further updates will be provided as necessary.”
