Colorado 14ers: Little Bear Peak to Blanca Peak Traverse Hike Information & Review (Part I)
The Little Bear Peak to Blanca Peak Traverse was no joke. Without a doubt the hardest of the great 14er traverses in my opinion. Nick and I climbed the mile long, 1-5 ft wide ridge on a perfect windless day in August. This ridge is highly exposed and is only recommended for those who are extremely comfortable with exposure and have completed the other 3 great traverses (Maroon Bells, Crestones, El Diente) according to Gerry Roach.
