    God’s Way Home to hold first annual charity event

    LEWISBURG W.Va. (WVDN) – God’s Way Home would like to invite you to attend their first annual charity event. The event will be held on October 19 th , 2024 at the Student Center Conference Center at the West Virginia Osteopathic School in Lewisburg, WV. The doors will open at 5 PM and the event will begin at 6 PM.  This event aims to raise public awareness about their sober living program and funding for it. They also want to bring awareness about the drug epidemic in our community and let people know that recovery is possible.

    Entertainment will include testimonials from two men who have graduated from the program and live music.

    The event will include delicious food that will be served around 6 PM. Chef Foley from Greenbrier West will cater the event. The menu will consist of meatloaf, grilled chicken, green beans, potatoes, salad, cookies, cake, and drinks.

    There will be a silent auction, a 50/50 raffle, and a gun raffle done by Park Center. Bidding for the silent auction will begin at 5 p.m.

    The registration deadline for guests and sponsors is September 10. Walk-ins on the day of the event are welcome but pre-registration is preferred.

    Admission cost for the event is $30 and $45 with a t-shirt. Kids under 5 are free and those 5-11 are $15  for ticket only and $30 with t-shirt. Sponsor levels are as follows: bronze $100, silver $250, gold $500, platinum $750.
