Town of Alderson to Host Public Meeting on Water Rehabilitation Project

ALDERSON W.Va. (WVDN) – The Town of Alderson will hold an informational public meeting on its Water Rehabilitation and Expansion project, in compliance with West Virginia Drinking Water Treatment Revolving Fund requirements.

The meeting is scheduled for Thursday, September 12, at 7 p.m. at Alderson City Hall, located at 311 Monroe Street South, Alderson, West Virginia 24910.

The project includes the installation of approximately 10 miles of waterline ranging from 8 inches to 2 inches, the replacement of a 150,000-gallon water storage tank, the addition of radio read meters, and the installation of a fence around the existing tank site. It also encompasses the rehabilitation of an existing tank and various related components such as valves and fire hydrants.
