LEWISBURG, W.Va. (WVDN) – Join us in making a difference! On Saturday, August 24th, from 10 AM to 2 PM, we will be parking our mobile clinic in front of Kroger to host a special community event aimed at supporting the First Baptist Church of Rainelle Food Pantry. This event will not only collect food donations but also offer essential wellness services to the public.

The First Baptist Church of Rainelle Food Pantry plays a crucial role in our community, delivering between 200-300 boxes of food each month to families in need. By participating in this food drive, you will help ensure that this vital service can continue to support those who rely on it.

    Event Details:

    • Date: Saturday, August 24
    • Time: 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.
    • Location: In front of Kroger, Rainelle, West Virginia

    Wellness Services Offered:

    • Blood Pressure Checks
    • Glucose Checks
    • Lipid Panel Labs ($25 cash price)

Our mobile clinic will be on-site to provide these services, making it convenient for you to take care of your health while contributing to a worthy cause. We encourage everyone to bring non-perishable food items to donate. Every contribution, no matter how small, can make a significant impact on the lives of those in our community.

“Supporting our local food pantry is more important than ever,” said Mary Page Nemcik, Executive Director at RCBC. “We are excited to combine this effort with wellness services, ensuring our community stays healthy while helping those in need.”

Let’s come together to support the First Baptist Church of Rainelle Food Pantry and ensure no one in our community goes hungry. We look forward to seeing you there and thank you in advance for your generosity and support.
