Clarence Ward Beaty, Jr.

Clarence Ward Beaty, Jr., 78, of Moyock, NC, formerly of White Sulphur Springs, WV, passed away Friday, August 16, 2024, at Sentara Albemarle Medical Center in Elizabeth City, NC.

He was born November 22, 1945, at White Sulphur Springs, WV, a son of the late Clarence Ward Beaty, Sr. and Virginia Wease Beaty.

Clarence ran his own construction company.

He is survived by his son, Raymond Shane Beaty of Moyock, NC, and Shane’s mother, Rayma Beaty of Falls Church, VA; two sisters, Deborah Bostic and Rebecca Miller, both of Norfolk, VA; a special cousin, Marvin “Buddy” Burdette of Moundsville, WV; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Monday, August 26, 2024, at Wallace & Wallace Funeral Home in White Sulphur Springs, with Pastor Stewart Farley officiating. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery.

Friends and family will be received one hour prior to the service on Monday at the funeral home.
