The Commission then moved on to old business. Seven bids were received for a FEMA project, an elevation project at Fort Spring that’s up for bid. Todd Schoolcraft Designs and Matt will review those and the winning bid will be announced at a later date.

Altus Cable Franchise (also known as Tea Bridge Acquisition LLC doing business as Suddenly Communications) agreement is up for renewal. It was approved to renew and hold the required public hearing on Oct. 22 at 9 a.m. before the regular Commission meeting provided a court reporter can be found to cover the meeting.

A motion was made to pass the Greenbrier County waterline extension project for District 2 Region 4. The location of the tank will be Wallace Memorial. A motion was made to accept the separation of employment of Kaitlyn Glover from Greenbrier County 911 Center effective September 2. She is taking a job with another company in the valley. The Commission stated they hated to lose her.

It was brought up to accept Cameron Pack as a new hire at the Greenbrier County 911 Center. He is currently a security officer at Greenbrier Valley Medical Center and has a military background.
