WVSOM Will Conduct A Public Sale Of Surplus Items By Sealed Written Bid – September, 2024

PUBLIC SALE

The West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine (WVSOM) located at 400 Lee Street North, Lewisburg, WV 24901 will conduct a public sale of surplus items by sealed written bid. The items for sale can be viewed from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, during work hours only.

Viewing of items will begin at 12:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 3, 2024 and will end at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 12, 2024. Please contact Ernest Piercy at (304) 647-6212 for questions or directions. Prospective bidders must obtain a bid sheet and must complete one bid sheet for each different item. For your convenience a date/time stamp machine and locked drop box will be available for bidders to time/date their bid(s) and place in the lock box. WVSOM will begin receiving bids on Tuesday, September 3, 2024. Written sealed bids may be dropped off in A-214 until 10:00 am Thursday, September 12, 2024 marked Attn: Jennifer Freeman or in the Receiving Building (U100). Bids will be tabulated and awards will be made to the highest bidder. The successful bidder(s) will be contacted and all items must be paid for and picked up by 3:00 p.m. on Friday, September 20, 2024. High Bidder of the car will have until 3:00 P.M. FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 27, 2024 to pay for and pick up car. Payment is required before any property can be removed.

WVSOM WILL ACCEPT CREDIT CARDS, CASH, AND CHECKS FOR PAYMENT OF SURPLUS SALE ITEMS. AWARDED BID FOR CAR WILL VOID IF NOT PAID FOR BY 3:00 P.M. FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 27, 2024. ALL OTHER ITEMS NOT PAID FOR BY 3:00 P.M. ON FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 20, 2024 WILL VOID THE AWARDED BID.
