RAINELLE, W.Va. (WVDN) — A structure fire in Rainelle has led to the closure of U.S. Route 60 east of the town, according to Greenbrier County Homeland Security and Emergency Management. The fire, which reportedly originated in the former Anderson Paving building just off Route 60, has also caused a power outage in the area.

Multiple fire departments have responded to the scene, working to control the blaze. Both lanes of U.S. Route 60 are blocked as emergency crews manage the situation. Residents are urged to conserve water due to the ongoing emergency.

Authorities have not yet released information on the cause of the fire or any potential injuries. Motorists are advised to seek alternate routes and stay updated on road conditions as the situation develops.
