ASBURY, W.Va. (WVDN) — Rosemary’s Pumpkins and Pines will kick off its fall season with an opening day celebration on Oct. 5 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The event will feature the Great PUP-kin Contest, scheduled for 3 p.m. All dogs are invited to participate in the contest, and pet owners are encouraged to dress their dogs in pumpkin-themed costumes if they wish.

To ensure a safe and enjoyable event, dogs must be on a six-foot non-retractable leash or in carriers and must be well-behaved. Water bowls and scoopers will be available throughout the property for the comfort of all attending pets.

Janice from Grooming By Janice will serve as the contest judge. The winner will receive a two-night stay at the Our Home Pet Spa in Rupert, along with a special puppy trick-or-treat bag.

Following the opening day, Rosemary’s Pumpkins and Pines will operate on weekends throughout October from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m., or until pumpkins run out. The pumpkin patch is located at 11298 Alta Drive, Asbury, WV 24916.
