LEWISBURG, W.Va. (WVDN) – In an effort to help the community stay healthy this flu season, Robert C. Byrd Clinic is hosting a Flu and COVID-19 Shot Clinic on Thursday, Oct. 17 from 5 to 7 p.m. The clinic will provide vaccines for both children (ages 6 months and older) and adults, ensuring protection for all age groups.

“We understand how busy life can be, which is why we’ve made this clinic as convenient as possible,” said Shannon Bashlor, nurse practitioner at RCBC. “We want to make it easy for everyone to get vaccinated, especially as we head into flu season and continue to manage COVID-19 concerns.”

The clinic will offer both flu shots and the latest COVID-19 vaccines. Getting vaccinated is crucial in preventing the spread of both viruses and reducing the severity of illness for those who do contract them. Both vaccines are safe, effective, and recommended for anyone eligible.

    Event Details:

    • Date: Thursday, Oct. 17
    • Time: 5–7 p.m.
    • Location: 1464 Jefferson St. N., Lewisburg
    • Vaccines Available: Flu shots and COVID-19 vaccines
    • Eligibility: Children 6 months and older, adults of all ages

Though you can make an appointment for this event (by calling 304-645-3220 or accessing rcbclinic.org/appointment) no appointment is necessary.
