Whether you’re looking for fun and family friendly or spooky and sinister, there are plenty of things to do in the Wichita area in the coming weeks to get into the spirit of Halloween.

All-ages events include taking selfies at Halloween-themed photo booths, holding fire bubbles in your hand, encountering the headless horseman and moving among mummies. Free activities include two movie showings under the stars and a lot of trunk-or-treat events all over Wichita.

For more scary adventures, choose one of seven haunted attractions in Wichita and within easy driving distance or watch “The Amityville Horror” in an old Wichita theater. There are a few adults-only events for those who prefer spirits of the liquid kind.

For some drama, take in a melodrama or a theater production of “Deathtrap” or listen to Halloween music live by candlelight in Wichita’s old airport.

Here is a monster list of activities to scare up every level of Halloween fun for various ages.

    All ages and family friendly
