    (Alabama)- Since 2020, Alabama native Dewanna Bonner has played for the Connecticut Suns as a forward in the WNBA and has averaged more than 13.5 points per season, according to ESPN.

    With the WNBA season back into full swing, Alabama fans should know that Bonner and her teammates will play against the Indiana Fever on Thursday, May 14, 2024, at 6:30 PM CST on ESPN 2.

    This means Alabamians can watch Bonner, Aliyah Boston, and Caitlin Clark at the same time.

    In Bonner's preseason game, she scored 16 points, got one rebound, and completed one assist.

    Last season, Bonner averaged 16 points and averaged 80% at the free throw line. Since the start of her 2009 WNBA season, Bonner has played in 462 games, and it's her 14th season in the WNBA.

    Bonner is a native of Fairfield and graduated from Auburn in 2009.
