(Alabama)- On September 3, 2024, authorities in Alabama were called to the 1000 block of Fountain Street in Houston Cty. following a report of a shooting. When they arrived, they located a male victim suffering from a gunshot wound to the back of his head. Remarkably, the victim was conscious and provided information about the suspects involved.

According to the victim, the altercation began with a dispute over a stolen cell phone. Ty'Qon McMillan,24, identified as the male suspect, was involved in a physical fight with the victim. During the scuffle, the female suspect, Veronica McMillan,23, reportedly managed to obtain the cell phone. As the situation escalated, Ty'Qon McMillan fired a round from a small caliber handgun, striking the victim in the back of the head.

The suspects, Ty'Qon and Veronica McMillan, were apprehended the following day on September 4, 2024. They face charges of 1st Degree Robbery and attempted murder and are currently being held without bond at the county jail.

MSN News reported both individuals were out on bond for previous charges, which have since been revoked. Back in late May, Veronica McMillan was arrested and charged with first-degree theft of property. While Ty’Qon McMillan was arrested and charged with first-degree assault back in mid-June.
