A New York City woman was arrested for reckless endangerment and assault Monday after she pushed two female tourists onto subway tracks. According to PIX11, two 28-year-old women were visiting from Mexico when they were pushed unprovoked by Ebony Butts, 42. The incident occurred around 2:15 a.m. in the Lower East Side’s Delancey Street-Essex Street subway station. Butts reportedly pushed one woman onto the tracks first and then shoved the other when she tried to assist her friend. The two tourists were treated for minor injuries. According to the news station, this isn’t Butts’ first run-in with the law, and she was previously arrested for punching a woman in the face. In June, PIX11 reported a similar incident involving a man who was deliberately knocked onto the tracks and struck by a train. According to the New York Post , despite breaking twelve ribs, the man survived.
