Kamala Harris is once again on the cover of TIME magazine. But the artwork—a sketch of the vice president surrounded by supporters holding her campaign signs aloft—isn’t for an interview. Instead, it’s for a story by Charlotte Alter with the headline: “The Reintroduction of Kamala Harris.” The piece looks at how Harris has “pulled off the swiftest vibe shift in modern political history” following her replacement of President Joe Biden at the top of the Democratic ticket. Harris also featured on the cover of the magazine last month , literally stepping into the frame as Biden exits. Her reappearance on the hallowed cover comes amid Republican attacks on Harris over her lack of media interviews since obtaining the Democratic nomination, with her most recent TV interviews coming in June, according to Politico . Last week, Harris said she wants to “get an interview scheduled before the end of the month.”
