Flavor Flav Offers Jordan Chiles Blinged-Out Bronze Clock After Medal Loss

Flavor Flav is here to save the day. Following the announcement that Team USA gymnast Jordan Chiles had been stripped of the bronze medal she received in Paris, the Public Enemy rapper said he could offer a placeholder of sorts. “USA gonna Fight The Powers that be…but in the meantime between time…I gots yo back @jordanchiles Hit me up,” Flav captioned an Instagram photo of a blinged-out bronze clock similar to those the former reality star made famous. Fans in the comments loved Flav’s gesture. “Not all heroes wear capes, some of them wear giant clocks!” one user wrote. Chiles has yet to respond publicly to Flav’s offer. Jewelry aside, USA Gymnastics issued a statement Monday on its Instagram explaining that its appeal to get Chiles’ medal back after presenting new evidence had been denied. The organization wrote that the decision made it “deeply disappointed.” The stripping of the medal came about after two Romanian gymnasts disputed points added to Chiles’ score.
