Hit them with facts. that social services welfare and food assistance was invented, along with another program called social security in August 14,1935 my FDR. at the time the social services available will only for Caucasian people which included not just single parents but families. it wasn't until after the civil Rights bill that people of African descent and other races were allowed to receive assistance from the public welfare. they were forced to pay into it, they just didn't receive anything from it. 1970 blacks and other ethnic groups, we're allowed assistance if needed. Verifiable facts show that more Caucasians per capita receive public assistance in the form of welfare housing or food, then all of the percentages of ethnic groups combined.
