Incumbents Retain Power on Montgomery-Rocky Hill School Board
In a particularly nasty school board election, chock full of name-calling and personal attacks, the three incumbents held their seats with a definitive margin. Incumbents Christina Harris, Victoria "Cookie" Franco-Herman, and Zelda Spence Wallace swept each of Montgomery's 19 voting districts, and Rocky Hill voters elected the champions by a margin of more than two votes to one over the Respecting Parents slate.
The Community Is Invited to Make a Labyrinth Walk
St. Charles Borromeo Parish invites the community to a different kind of spiritual practice. St. Charles purchased a 40 foot canvas labyrinth. The pattern of the labyrinth is based on the labyrinth found in the Chartres Cathedral in France. The labyrinth will be open November 14 to 16, from 9:30 am to 3 pm and from 6 pm to 8 pm each day. Please be sure to wear socks. All walkers will be asked to remove their shoes.
