County to Help Monty Fill Its Empty Office Bldgs
Montgomery Township Committee is looking to the county for help in finding tenants to fill office space that has been vacant since before the pandemic. Montgomery is primarily a residential community with pockets of large office campuses such as Johnson & Johnson (now Kenvue), which still occupies its large property on Grandview Road. Police Investigate a Head-on Crash Involving 3 Vehicles on Route 206 by Aja
Montgomery police and EMS responded to Route 206 near Aja Cuisine for a head-on crash involving three vehicles on July 9, at 5:30 pm. The three vehicles involved in the crash were disabled in the middle of the state highway, impeding traffic. Montgomery police officers rendered aid to those injured until Montgomery EMS arrived and transported the occupants of the vehicles to RWJ Somerset and to the RWJ New Brunswick trauma center.
Monty Boy Scout Troop 46 Celebrates Its 90th Birthday
There is much to celebrate in Troop 46—Montgomery Township’s oldest Boy Scout troop. There are currently about 75 boys in Troop 46. Over its many years, the troop has had an outstanding record of helping scouts attain the rank of Eagle, the highest rank in scouting. On September 24,1966, Larry May became the first Eagle Scout in the troop, and since then, 217 boys have followed his lead. The troop expects five or six scouts to reach Eagle this year.

We are working with the board of education to create up to six pickleball courts at the Montgomery Lower Middle School tennis complex.
