    Thrilljoy, A New Pop Culture Collectibles Company from the Former CEO of Funko, to Debut at New York Comic Con | Exclusive

    A new collectibles company has entered the marketplace.

    Thrilljoy, a new company founded by former Funko CEO (and originator of the iconic Funko Pop line) Brian Mariotti, is making its big debut at New York Comic Con from Oct. 17 to Oct. 20 at booth #1023. And we’ve got exclusive images of figures inspired by Netflix series “Squid Game, “Blue Eye Samurai” and “Warrior Nun.” These are part of, as the company describes, an “inaugural collection of high-end, artisan collectibles that promise to redefine the market.”

    At launch, Thrilljoy will offer three distinct product lines, which are outlined below:

    • Featuring unparalleled packaging that safeguards both the product and its value, PIX! redefines the collector’s experience. True enthusiasts recognize the significance of preserving packaging integrity, and PIX! empowers collectors to fully appreciate the item from both inside and outside the box—without compromising its worth. The price point for PIX! collectibles will be available between $40 – $50.

    • Thrilljoy’s Mega Pix-12” is a stylized figures line that uses magnetic hands and accessories, setting a new standard for flexibility and playability that allows collectors to customize their displays in creative ways. These customizable collectibles will be priced at $125.

    • Thrilljoy Threads draws inspiration from bold streetwear trends, offering premium gear that empowers our community to express their fandom with confidence. Each item, a co-branded masterpiece, is expertly designed using top-tier materials with an unwavering commitment to detail, reflecting a unique fusion of style and passion. Thrilljoy threads will be available for between $40 – $50.

    “My inspiration to start Thrilljoy stemmed from a deep-seated passion for fandom and a desire to elevate the collector experience,” Mariotti said in a statement “While Funko laid the groundwork for engaging with fans, I see an opportunity to create a brand that not only celebrates diverse interests, like sports, music and gaming, but also fosters a vibrant community. Thrilljoy is all about innovation, quality and genuine connection with collectors, allowing us to redefine what it means to be a fan in today’s world.”

    In addition to debuting new product in the booth, Thrilljoy will host a panel featuring industry leaders, including Mariotti, Eric Peng Cheng (owner of Undefeated and Bait), MD Yang (MINDstyle International) and moderator Karissa Marston, Thrilljoy’s head of marketing.
