Three Men Arrested for Fatal Stabbing in Leominster
FITCHBURG – Police arrested three men, one for murder, in connection with that fatal stabbing of Robert Wright-Day, 20, of Leominster, on Tuesday, May 7. At around 1 AM on tuesday, Leominster Police responded to a report of a stabbing at Riverside Village Apartments on State Street. Officers located Wright-Day suffereing from a stab wound. He was transported to Leominster Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Police Investigating Fatal Stabbing in Leominster

Worcester Human Rights Comm’n Calls for End to Civil Service
WORCESTER – The Worcester Human Rights Commission unanimously voted to recommend City Manager Eric Batista move Worcester away from the Massachusetts Civil Service system. $375 Million for Local Roads, Bridges Signed by Governor
WORCESTER – Governor Maura Healey signed transportation infrastructure legislation into law on Friday, May 3, the day after it was passed by the legislature. The law includes $375 million in bond authorization and will provide every city and town with a share of $200 million for maintenance and construction of roads and bridges. Worcester Man Arrested for Drug Distribution After Search Warrant Served
WORCESTER – A search warrant served on Main Street led to the arrest of a local man on drug distribution charges. Worcester Police Vice Squad officers reported to Main Street on Wednesday, May 1, with a search warrant for a residence and vehicle on Main Street.
