Beer, Music Coming to Placerville for Oktoberfest Celebration

El Dorado County is best known for its wine. Vineyards like the one at Delfino Farms produce tasty whites known throughout the NorCal area.

But this September, something different is coming to town.

Placerville will host its annual Oktoberfest celebration on September 21, 2024, from 3 to 9 p.m. The event, which takes place on Main Street near the Bell Tower, is free and open to the public.

Visitors can enjoy a variety of Oktoberfest staples, including German beer, wine, traditional foods, and live music. The festivities will also feature a "Dachshund Dash," a Kids Zone, and many people in German attire to add to the festive atmosphere.

The event promises to be a fun-filled afternoon and evening for all ages.
