Cornwall Days planned for Aug. 9-11
CORNWALL—Cornwall Days will be held Aug. 9-11 this year with live music, the Rose Algrant Art Show, family events and a Taste of Cornwall. The Algrant show opens Friday afternoon, 2-6 p.m., at Cornwall Consolidated School, and continues Saturday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Sunday, 10 a.m. until noon.
Prayer shawl volunteers are sought
KENT—The St. Kateri Tekakwitha Parish, of which Sacred Heart Church is a part, is seeking knitters and crocheters to join in its Parish Prayer Shawl Ministry. Prayer shawls are distributed to parishioners in need of some loving warmth due to illness or loss of a loved one. Blankets are also created for children who are baptized.
