Ted and Blue, ages 8 and 2
Hi, we’re Ted and Blue, best friends who share similar stories. I’m Ted, and my human siblings brought me home from the SPCA eight years ago – after Mom’s specific instructions to not bring back a crazy kitten. I won her over pretty fast with my silky black fur and enchanting eyes. It didn’t take long for me to collect nicknames, like Teddy Bear and Theodore. I am secretly a dog in a cat’s body – I’m very extroverted and will approach anyone for pets. The gray cat with white paws is my brother, Blue, named after the song Blue Monday by New Order. He also goes by Bluey, Blueberry, Boo-boo, and Boo-bear! He was found on the street when he was just 10 ounces. Ever since then, he’s been the baby of the family. He loves to snuggle and play hide and seek under the blankets, but his loud purr always reveals his hiding spot.
