Tahir Shoatz Charged In West Philly Mass Shooting: PPD
Tahir Shoatz, 28, is charged with three counts of murder and five counts of attempted murder plus related offenses, said PPD Commissioner Kevin Bethel on Tuesday, July 23. The shooting happened on the 1200 block of North Alden Street in the Carroll Park neighborhood around 2 a.m., authorities said previously. Wanted: Suspect for Robbery/Shooting Incident in the 24th District [VIDEO]
The Philadelphia Police Department and the Shooting Investigation Group is asking for the public’s assistance identifying the suspect depicted in the following video. Man dies after being stabbed in the face in Philadelphia
An investigation is underway after a man was stabbed to death in Philadelphia early Tuesday morning. Police responded to the 1200 block of West Wingohocking Street at 6:26 a.m. for a reported stabbing. When they arrived, they found an unidentified man in his 40s or 50s who was suffering from multiple stab wounds to the face. He was pronounced dead at the scene by medics at 6:36 a.m.
