Camp Cadet in focus
For more than 30 years, boys and girls from 12 to 15 have been attending State Police Troop R Camp Cadet for one week each summer, experiencing hands-on activities and learning teamwork and discipline. This year camp is being held at Marywood University, where participants engage in daily activities which include a 2-mile run and physical fitness routines. Campers are also treated to presentations from agencies from various fields, including law enforcement and emergency services personnel. On Thursday, campers visited a shooting range. The week long adventure will conclude on Friday.
