Writing is one of the things in life that consistently brings me the most joy. It’s a creative outlet that takes so many forms. Writing this article for you all every week brings me joy. Writing out a new joke to try at an open mic brings me a lot of joy. Writing a short story or even just journaling at the end of a long, crazy day brings me joy. In a life that can be often times incredibly chaotic, it's nice to have the constantly present catharsis of putting words down on a page to ground me.
