Indianapolis man convicted after selling fentanyl-laced substance to 23-year-old, resulting in death
INDIANAPOLIS — A Hamilton County jury found an Indianapolis man guilty Friday for selling a fentanyl-laced substance to a 23-year-old man, resulting in his death. Benjamine Ingram was convicted of selling a counterfeit substance, that was believed to be Xanax, to Jacob Lampe. The substance Ingram sold was laced with fentanyl and resulted in Lampe's death in July 2022.

Construction to restrict portion of Interstate 74 westbound near Brownsburg
HENDRICKS COUNTY, Ind. — Part of Interstate 74 westbound near Brownsburg will be restricted for construction starting on Friday. According to a press release from the Indiana Department of Transportation, crews will reduce I-74 westbound to one lane between Ronald Reagan Parkway and 56th Street. Work is also expected to stretch into a small portion of I-74 westbound located just east of the 56th Street underpass.
