In a series of events bringing a tragic case one step closer to resolution, Jennifer Lee Wilson, a 48-year-old woman from northwest Indiana, has been arrested in connection with the reckless homicide of her 10-year-old son, Dakota Levi Stevens. NBC Chicago reports that Wilson was taken into custody on Saturday night by sheriff's deputies in Berrien County, Michigan. It is believed that the utilization of license plate reader technology was integral in tracking down Wilson's vehicle.
Forbes: Community Healthcare System one of America’s Best Employers for New Grads
Community Healthcare System, now Powers Health, has landed in the top 20% on Forbes’ 2024 list of America’s Best Employers for New Grads. To compile the list, Forbes partnered with market research firm Statista and surveyed more than 100,000 young professionals working for companies with at least 1,000 employees in the United States. Community Healthcare System ranked No. 83 out of 400 employers on the list. No other Northwest Indiana healthcare employer made the list.

Grant County carjackers arrested after chase in Noblesville
NOBLESVILLE, Ind. (NETWORK INDIANA) — Two suspects in a Grant County carjacking are now in custody, say police. The Hamilton County Sheriff’s Department says two people used a weapon to carjack someone in Grant County early Monday afternoon, which led to a police chase. The chase crossed county lines on State Road 37. The suspects crashed into a handful of cars before finally coming to a stop and making a run for it on foot.
