Answering the call: Plans for Westfield Fire Department Station 84 unveiled
The City of Westfield and the Westfield Fire Department are preparing to break ground on a new fire station. Construction is anticipated to begin soon for Station 84, a two-story, 20,000-square-foot facility at 191st Street and Chad Hittle Drive. The new station design includes three apparatus bays, living quarters, sleeping quarters and a museum. The site will house up to 12 fire department personnel for 24/7 response with a ladder truck and an engine.

For Foreigner keyboardist Michael Bluestein, the time is right to slow down a bit. “We’re in the middle of a two-year farewell tour,” Bluestein said. “We’re not saying goodbye completely but basically we’re entering a new chapter where we’ll not be traveling as extensively as we have been because it’s been about nine months a year for about 20 years. It’s going to be considerably less, so this is a full-on, going out with a bang during these two years.”

VanTrust to Begin Construction of New Sephora Midwest Distribution Center
Kansas City-based VanTrust Real Estate is set to begin construction on a nearly 750,000-square-foot facility that will serve as Sephora’s Midwest distribution center. The build-to-suit facility is 746,672 square feet and will be located on 61 acres at Avon Landings Commerce Park in Avon, Indiana. The targeted completion date is summer 2025, according to a release.

I&M: Less than 3,000 customers remain without power following storms
(WPTA) - Indiana Michigan Power shares that as of 9 p.m. Tuesday, only about 2,900 customers are still without power. Indiana Michigan Power (I&M) has provided another update after 16,000 customers were without power Tuesday morning after a line of thunderstorms moved through the area. I&M says more than 70% of those affected have had their power restored noting that less than 8,000 customers are without power as of 1 p.m.
