Greenwich’s Sorokin Gallery Spotlights Modern Master David Hayes
Sorokin Gallery in Greenwich, will exhibit small sculptures and paintings of the American Modern Master David Hayes (1931-2013). Exhibition runs from September 3 to 24 with an opening on Saturday, September 7 from 5 to 7 in the evening, then a subsequent talk by the artist’s son, David Hayes, Jr., on Saturday, September 14 from 1 to 3.
Peekskill, NY offers innovative nature preschool program
The City of Peekskill, New York still has a few spots available for Mother Nature's Preschool. This program focuses on outdoor, hands-on learning, imaginative and creative learning, and connecting children with nature. The program runs from September 9, 2024, to June 2025, following the Peekskill School Calendar, Monday through Thursday from 9 am to 12 noon. It is open to children ages 2.5 to 5 who are potty trained and will be held at Depew Park Preschool near the pool.
YMCA of Greenwich’s Running Start Empowers 100 Kids for School

Over four sessions, the third annual Running Start at the YMCA of Greenwich provided local children with essential back-to-school shopping experiences, helping them confidently start the school year.
