MINNEAPOLIS — A storm system moving slowly across Minnesota on Tuesday will mostly miss the Twin Cities.The cluster cralwed across western and central Minnesota before skirting the metro. As of midmorning, southern Minnesota was still dealing with heavy rain.Rain is still possible in the Twin Cities in the afternoon and evening, but after that, we've got a stretch of dry time lasting the rest of the week.Highs will approach 80 on Tuesday in the Twin Cities and remain similar on Wednesday, then things will start to warm up. Man suspected of providing drugs in overdose death appears in court
CHIPPEWA FALLS — A Holcombe man charged with providing drugs that resulted in a fatal overdose appeared in court Monday. Casey C. Schueneman, 43, 25120 260th Ave., and Crystal K. Crouse, 36, of Conrath, were each charged in April in Chippewa County Court with first-degree reckless homicide — party to a crime, along with bail jumping. Schueneman’s charge specifically included delivery of drugs; Crouse’s charge does not have that provision. She is slated to return to court on July 31. ...

Woman enters plea, sentenced for aiding a felon
EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (WEAU) - A Chippewa Falls woman accused of aiding a felon in relation to a September 2022 homicide entered a plea and was sentenced today. Court documents show that on July 22, 27-year-old Paige Reiter pleaded no contest to one count of harboring or aiding a felon. The court accepted the plea and found Reiter guilty.
