Missoula Mavericks riding deep, veteran roster on chase for state championship
MISSOULA — The Missoula Mavericks have shown they're built for the tournament format. The Mavs advanced to the championship game of all three tournaments they've played in this season. They won their Mavericks Memorial Tournament and placed second in their Memorial Day Tournament as well as the Rapid City Firecracker Tournament in South Dakota.

Annual MCMS music fest comes to regional venues
The Montana Chamber Music Society celebrates its annual Montana Chamber Music Festival with local performances on July 23rd, 24th and 26th. The Monday performance will be held at Big Sky’s Wilson Hotel, followed by a Tuesday show at Livingston’s Shane Lalani Center for the Arts, then moving to Bozeman for a Friday program at Reynolds Recital Hall on the Montana State University campus. The Big Sky and Bozeman performances begin at 7pm, and 7:30pm in Bozeman.

Missoula mayor returns from Bloomberg Initiative with new inspiration
MISSOULA, Mont. — Mayor Andrea Davis returned to Missoula after attending a course on leadership in New York City. She was among 39 mayors selected to attend the Bloomberg Harvard City Leadership Initiative. Other participants include mayors from Kenya, Germany and Argentina as well as more than 25 local government officials from cities across the U.S.
Evacuation warnings lifted for Bible Lane fire near Alberton
UPDATE: July 21 at 9:30 a.m. The Missoula County Sheriff's Office announced around 5:30 p.m. Saturday the evacuation warnings for the Bible Lane fire have been lifted. The warnings had been in place for residents east of the intersection of Petty Creek Road and Bible Lane, including Runyon Drive, Lydia Lane, and Lucinda Lane since Friday evening when the fire ignited.
Robbery Suspect Attacks Missoula Grocery Store Employee
Missoula, MT (KGVO-AM News) - On July 13, 2024, Missoula Police Department officers were dispatched to a local grocery store for a possible robbery. The 911 caller was an employee of the store and stated a male had “got physical” during a shoplifting. When officers arrived on the scene, the suspect had left the area. An officer met with two employees and obtained brief statements from them.
