Vending machine outside of local hospital offers condoms, pregnancy tests & more; First of its kind in Pennsylvania
The Health To Go vending machine is outside of the emergency department of UPMC Harrisburg, and it's one of the first in the state. Among the items in the machine are pregnancy tests, male and female condoms, naloxone, and fentanyl test strips. All of them, free.
PA Senate hearing on combating antisemitism on college campuses
DAUPHIN COUNTY, Pa. — Today in Harrisburg, the Pennsylvania Senate Education Committee held a public hearing on antisemitism on Pennsylvania college campuses. The committee is reviewing its own policies regarding harassment and hate-speech, after large protests broke out at universities across the state. Most notably, investigations into campus conduct have been sparked at Penn State University, University of Pittsburgh, and University of Pennsylvania.

Property Tax and Rent Rebate Program application date extended
In January Governor Josh Shapiro announced the Property Tax/Rent Rebate program, or PTRR for short. With the program, hundreds of thousands of older and disabled Pennsylvanians will now be eligible for a rebate up to $1,000. This brings the maximum standard rebate up from its previous level of $650. Bucks County Lake Listed as One of the Best Spots for Bass Fishing in Pennsylvania

A Franklin County man faces up to 30 years in prison for making online threats against a state senator, his county commissioner and a member of the National Guard. Court documents say Richard J. Little II posted threatening messages on his Facebook page in which he described graphic acts of violence, repeatedly referencing an eviction notice he had received on June 10.
