The National Weather Service in Detroit/Pontiac has issued a Flood Warning for the Huron River near Hamburg in Livingston County. This warning is in effect until further notice as minor flooding is currently occurring, and moderate flooding is forecasted.

• Forecast: The river is expected to rise to a crest of 7.7 feet early Saturday morning.
• Flood Stage: Flood stage is at 7.0 feet.

• • At 7.0 feet, water begins to flood yards of homes along the Huron River and Ore Lake. Some boat docks begin to become submerged.
  • At 7.5 feet, flooding of houses and yards increases considerably.
