Our home schooling of our daughters in the late 80s and 90s included safe use and maintenance of firearms. But was for the shear option of home safety and a fighting chance at self defense, if needed. That alone, plus a need to survive the ignorance of today's end results of the same such dwindled education falsehoids. They no longer teach of when we once had life threating Punishment for the attempts of the same such murderous motives, we see today. Common Reason allowed your 'Easy Rider Rifle Racks' in the back glass of Anyone's pick-up truck whether they were parked in the student's or teachers' lots. This lack of teaching of Right -vs- wrong is is more than just another means of disarming law bidding citizens of their legal rights, via more legislation, that the criminally / mental deranged pay no mind to anyway. It's a moral issue, not a gun problem. Someone does a driveby at a bus stop. I'd hope someone near has a trained hand at stopping it. Dont you think, or Don't you?
