Celebrate Easter with Eggstravagant Fun in Tahoe

    2024-03-31

This Easter, get ready for egg-citing family activities at Sierra-at-Tahoe's Easter Eggstravaganza! Head over to the new Solstice Plaza for a morning of festive fun. The Easter Bunny has hidden egg-cellent treasures for the kids to discover, followed by an exciting on-mountain egg hunt for the young at heart. Don't forget to bring your basket and join the hunt! The event takes place at Plaza on the Hill, 1111 Sierra at Tahoe Road, Twin Bridges, from 9-11 a.m. Pre-registration is required to secure your spot.

Meanwhile, over at Heavenly Village, the Heavenly Easter Egg Hunt is back for its fifth year, promising a day filled with joy and surprises for families from all over the region. This year's event features a whopping 15,000 plastic Easter eggs, each filled with candy and toys. Keep an eye out for special eggs hiding $1000 in cash prizes! Plus, little ones can enjoy the Build-a-Bunny station, adding a creative twist to the festivities.

Cap off the Easter celebrations with a delicious Easter Brunch at Fire & Ice Restaurant, where you might even get a visit from the Easter Bunny himself!

But it's not just about fun and games – the event also carries a significant charitable aspect. Proceeds from the event will benefit Christmas Cheer, a local organization dedicated to providing food for families in need during the holiday season. This heartwarming initiative underscores the community's spirit of giving back and supporting one another.

The 55th Annual Easter Egg Hunt will be hosted by the South Tahoe Optimist Club, which will hide a huge amount of eggs throughout the parking lot near the college gym. The event will be held from 10:30 a.m. to noon, at Lake Tahoe Community College, 1 College Way, South Lake Tahoe.

Kahle Community Center is hosting an extra special day for family fun. Co-Sponsored by the Tahoe Douglas Firefighter’s Association, the Tot Egg Hunt will be held Friday March 29 from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The Easter Bunny will be hiding eggs outside and kids can climb on fire trucks. Don't forget to bring a basket to collect eggs and a camera for an Eggciting day. The hunt begins at 10:30 AM sharp at 236 Kingsbury Grade, Stateline. It's available for kids aged 0 – 6.

So gather your loved ones and hop on over to Tahoe for an egg-ceptional Easter celebration that's bound to create lasting memories for all!
