Universal Parks to Bring Wicked to Life with Immersive Experiences and Exclusive Merchandise

This October, Universal Studios Hollywood and Universal Orlando Resort are launching brand-new experiences inspired by the upcoming Wicked film, hitting theaters on November 22. Fans of Wicked will have the chance to see Land of Oz, with each park offering unique immersive experiences and exclusive merchandise.

At Universal Orlando Resort, Wicked: The Experience will open at the former UNIVRS store location. Iconic locations from Wicked, such as Shiz University and the Emerald City, will show costumes and props from the movie. (source: Universal Destinations & Experiences press release).

Over on the West Coast, Universal Studios Hollywood will transform its Feature Presentation store and UNIVRS store into Wicked-themed destinations. Guests will be able to view props from the movie and snap photos at new themed photo ops. After the film’s release, costumes from the movie will also be on display at the Universal Cinema, an AMC Theatre located at Universal CityWalk (source: Universal Destinations & Experiences press release).

Both parks are also offering Wicked-inspired dining options, with limited-edition treats at Voodoo Doughnuts and The Toothsome Chocolate Emporium & Savory Feast Kitchen at Universal CityWalk.

Fans will also be able to stock up on exclusive merchandise. The Shiz University collection, featuring Wicked-themed apparel, accessories, and back-to-school items, will be available. Additionally, Studio MinaLima has developed a special collection with Wicked-inspired graphics and prints on clothing, home goods, and more. Other merchandise includes fashion dolls from Mattel, Funko Pops!, LEGO sets, and cosplay items from The Noble Collection.

Get ready for even more Wicked celebrations at Universal Studios Singapore and Universal Studios Japan later this year and into 2024.
