ELMORE — A Cleveland-area woman was killed Monday morning on the Ohio Turnpike when a tractor-trailer crashed through the median barrier in a construction zone and struck her vehicle, which then caught fire, the Ohio State Highway Patrol reported. The turnpike’s eastbound lanes were closed for more than five hours following the crash in Sandusky County’s Washington Township, which was reported at 9:49 a.m. and also involved an eastbound tractor-trailer. BG Police investigate reports by two businesses of customers using counterfeit bills
Two Bowling Green businesses reported counterfeit bills being used at their stores on Friday (July 19). Bowling Green Police responded to a business in the 800 block of South Main Street, at 7:23 p.m., after an employee reported a customer suspected of using counterfeit bills. The male had reportedly used counterfeit bills at the store last week to purchase a car battery.
