COLUMBUS, Ga. (WTVM) - A new tenant is set to breathe life into a vacant anchor space at a north Columbus shopping center. HomeGoods, known for its wide selection of furniture, home accessories and cooking products, will open at Columbus Park Crossing, a company spokesperson confirms. The retailer will occupy the 25,000-square-foot building that was previously home to Bed Bath & Beyond on Whittlesey Boulevard.

Police: Suspect wanted in Albany kidnapping at gunpoint
ALBANY, Ga. (WALB) - The Albany Police Department (APD) is asking for the community’s help in finding a suspect in a kidnapping incident. Police say Quincy Stephens along with other individuals kidnapped a victim at gunpoint and took him from the 300 block of Grant Place. The victim was then allegedly beaten and had items taken, per a release.
