Tigard's Empresarios Night Market to feature Latino vendors, food and performers Friday

More than 20 local vendors are expected to show up for Tigard’s Empresarios Night Market set for Friday, July 26, at Universal Plaza.

The event, presented by the city of Tigard, will showcase the spirit of the Latino community with retail offerings, food and performers.

Festivities run from 4 to 9 p.m. at the plaza, 9100 Burnham St.

Food vendors on tap for the event include: Los Tercos Mexican food, Juanita’s Mexican food, Rainbow ice cream, Jonesin’ For Azucar, RB Wok & Grill, Sugar Bae, Good Cake Bakery, La Casa de Mamá and Tigard Farmers Market.

For gifts and other items, check out vendors including Soothing Sabores, La Tienda Del Sol, Carissmex leather purses, Skye Eclisse Jewelry, Creaciones Claudia, Artesanías Lupita MX, Blue Star Gold jewelry, Corazón Art & Crafts, BBTEA JARS, Flor Y Fiesta by Maura Faria and Pogi Kisses.

Also attending will be Familias en Acción, an organization that strengthens the holistic health and well-being of Latino families, and Casa Qui/Adelante Mujeres, a collective of four vendors from a Forest Grove incubator program. Other attendees include the Tigard Police Department, Tigard Public Library and Tigard Chamber of Commerce.

Free parking is available throughout downtown Tigard.
