JUST IN: Worker dies in industrial accident at Del Monte Foods
A 43-year-old man died Friday while working at Del Monte Foods in Plover, officials confirmed. Rescue crews were called at about 4:45 p.m. Aug. 23 to the factory at 1400 Plover Road. According to a Point Plover Metro Wire report, a 911 caller told dispatchers that a man was seriously injured after his head struck a train rail.

Clippers' Wesley leads the way again in Shawano
Sturgeon Bay junior Keira Wesley paced the Clippers once again in girls' golf action as the Bay Conference met for the second time this week. Wesley's nine-hole score of 52 was good for a top-15 performance, with all golfers chasing Shawano's Sophia Eggert (43) and Xavier's Caroline Vanden Heuvel (43) for the top of the leaderboard. The Clippers finished sixth out of seven qualified teams and eight overall with a score of 244. Shawano and Seymour tied for first with a score of 190.
