The Anne Arundel County Department of Health is looking for anyone who may have come in contact with a rabid raccoon that was found in Davidsonville. The area health officials focused on was Governor Bridge Road between Riva and St. George Barber roads. The rabid raccoon was found on Monday.
New Calvert government building is a project on the rise

Mobile home fire ruled accidental in Talbot Co.
CORDOVA, Md. – A mobile home in Talbot County was heavily damaged in a fire Tuesday afternoon. Just after 4 p.m., firefighters were called to the 29000 block of Schockley Lane in Cordova for a reported house fire. Crews were able to control the blaze in roughly 45 minutes.
