After a terrific playing career, former Kentucky star Randall Cobb has hung up his cleats. The 13-year veteran will be retiring and already has his next venture planned out. On Thursday it was announced that Cobb would be joining the SEC Network as a studio analyst for the upcoming season. He will appear on 'select editions' of SEC Now throughout the season in addition to 'Out of Pocket' Presented by Academy Sports + Outdoors.

Portland Dairy Queen may close soon as land goes up for sale
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- The Dairy Queen in Portland may not be there much longer. A "for sale" sign went up earlier this month on the edge of the property. The property agent told WDRB the owner of the Dairy Queen doesn't plan on renewing its' lease and it's up at the end of this month.

SMITHS GROVE, Ky. (WBKO) – Authorities responded to a single-vehicle crash on Interstate 65 South Thursday. Kentucky State Police Post 3 Public Affairs Officer Katan Parker told WBKO the accident occurred at mile marker 41.
