Four U.S. House primaries are contested in New Hampshire this year—the most in the last 10 years
This year’s filing deadline for candidates running for Congress in New Hampshire was June 14, 2024. Twenty-four candidates are running for New Hampshire’s two U.S. House districts, including four Democrats and 20 Republicans. That’s an average of 12 candidates per district. There was an average of 9.5 candidates per district in 2022, 6.0 candidates per district in 2020, and 12.5 in 2018.
All-State tennis: Here are Seacoast players honored
For the first time, boys and girls tennis coaches got together in their respective divisions and leagues, to vote and recognize All-State selections for the sport. "I am so pleased that the tennis coaches were able to collaborate and establish a voting system for All-State teams," Dover girls head coach Sue Vitko said, crediting Portsmouth girls head coach Wendy Poutre for spearheading the effort. "It is great to be able to recognize outstanding student-athletes in tennis."
